Taking away protected land for development is not progress. It's moving backwards. Wasaga Beach is a beloved public park. Many families enjoy it, and it has many environmental benefits.
Allowing developers to build over it does not show that Ford is for the people. I have no trust in him. We need to protect our natural spaces more than ever now. And we should be adding to that list of protected spaces.
I urge this government to NOT take away protected land from Wasaga Beach and anywhere else in Ontario.
