Hello,
I am against this proposal. I DO NOT WANT you to remove natural habitat to advance tourism in the Wasaga beach area.
Wasaga beach is popular for its nature. If we wanted to go to a beach where it’s next to high rises and other buildings, we’d go to closer beaches in southern Ontario (eg in Toronto). We don’t go to Toronto beaches because the openness and greenery available in Wasaga is preferred.
Also, removing natural habitat for construction will hurt already struggling wildlife populations that utilize the area for nesting.
