We disagree with transferring the responsibility of conserving the Piping Plovers habitat to the town of Wasaga Beach. The town does not have the resources to maintain the habitat, and has no priority to so either.
The province must continue to be responsible for its' conservation as Ontario citizens are very concerned about this environmental issue, as we are of others. Towns cannot be expected to fund Ontario's environmental priorities.
The province has successfully maintained the Piping Plover habitat for many years. We ask that you keep the success of all your hard work going!
