Parts of Wasaga Beach…

Parts of Wasaga Beach Provincial Park should not be transferred to the Town of Wasaga Beach. This would put critical and most productive habitat for the Endangered Piping Plover at risk and would likely lead to the loss of important ecological habitat. As well, we need to keep public spaces public, and that is becoming increasingly important with a growing population in southern Ontario. It is so short-sighted to take prime ecological and recreational land and turn it over to development for the enjoyment and profit of a few. Shame on you Ontario government for considering selling off Ontario's public good.
