I own a cottage at Wasaga Beach our Provincial Park pass allows me to bring my disabled wife to look at the water surrounded by bird sounds. Her two favourite sounds water & birds. I am disturbed by the proposal to take 60% of our provincial park land. Habitat to the Endangered Piping Plover.
Beach One can be the paved over destination that the “economic zone” should be kept to. We pay our taxes two places in Ontario. We all deserve green space and beach access.
All of the people that still want that will crowd the park more. As it is we are often turned away from the parking at our provincial park as is. We are elderly and need to be able to drive to the beach. Please don’t any of Wasaga Beach Provincial Park away.
