I do not support this bill. The Ontario Government's own experts state that bike lanes do not contribute to gridlock. I use the bike lanes in Toronto all the time, both for biking and rollerblading - every time I do, I am reducing gridlock because I'm not using my car. Expanding lanes only leads to more traffic - it's been proven time and again. Stop this repeated war on bikers. You are putting our lives more at risk by forcing us into the same lanes as drivers. I have lived all over North America and the drivers in Toronto are the most aggressive I've ever encountered. I have had to give witness testimony for a biker hit by a car on my street. I have had to call the police twice - once because I witnessed a car rear-end a person on purpose, and once because a man was crashing into everything he drove past because he was so drunk. You should be making bills to protect vulnerable road users from drivers; not the other way around. Again, I ask you, please stop your war on bikers and vulnerable road users.
