Bike lanes do not cause traffic congestion. Your own government experts say bike lanes are not a cause of gridlock. Bike lanes keep people safe. People riding bikes are doing thier part to save the planet, lessen green house gases and stay fiT. All money saving practices. And some people ride because they can't afford a car or transit. You are punishing bike riders and taking away our right to choose how we more around. What happened to freedom of choice? Preventing new bike lanes is irresponsible and once again your government is not listening to the will of the people. You are being an autocratic government. Municipalities should be able to decide on what to do in there own cities, like speed cameras. We should decide for our selves.
