I an writing this comment in support or ERCA, our local conservation authority. As a developer/builder and personal nature lover, I love the value that ERCA brings to our our area. Their expertise and personal hands on approach, helps to ensure that development planning takes in all core environmental values of the community and specific needs of the geographical area. The staff at ERCA are approachable, reasonable and always available for consultation. We understand the reasoning behind the Provincial Government looking for efficiencies and consolidating core competencies. We simply ask that our region keep its local experts local, that they continue to live and work in our community, and that they can maintain the same level of exceptional accessibility and service they currently provide. Having the interpersonal facetime during development is critical to successful projects and helps us build homes and projects faster. I find the staff here at ERCA invaluable to our development planning and projects.
