Amalgamation on this scale is too broad, especially combining Thunder Bay with Lake Huron-region watersheds.
While I appreciate the potential for reduced burden on municipalities, I don’t believe that there is significant duplication among CA’s even within the same municipality.
Also not sure what a provincial level oversight board would add that Conservation Ontario doesn’t already do.
