It is my belief that keeping the Lakehead Region Conservation Authority separate from those further east is a must.
Our geographic isolation being one of the strongest arguments against amalgamation.
The Lakehead Authority has a been an active presence in our community since its inception.
Keeping our watershed safe and accessible, providing recreational areas in our region that highlight my area of the province.
I am very much against amalgamation.
