I do not support this proposal. It is an unnecessary waste of taxpayers' money that could be better spent elsewhere, such as on healthcare or education. Furthermore, each of the new regions would cover too large of an area and it will be more difficult for local conservation needs to be addressed. The Hamilton Conservation Authority has outlined some excellent reasons as to why this proposal should not be supported.
