Please do not consolidate in this fashion. Local needs vary so much from urban and central oversight. It will make dealing with and working with a conservation authority an onerous and time consuming process. Rural land owners and agriculture will suffer with more red tape and beaurocratic layers from people who know very little about the region. I see no problem with a few amalgamations here and there, but not seven regions - that’s far too cumbersome.
