I think this is a great idea…

I think this is a great idea! My only concern is the availability of blue bins in public places. There should be more dispersed around Barrie and all businesses should have the opportunity to participate. I know some businesses only have garbage bins in the back, and the building "doesn't recycle" so there are no bins for those items. If we increase what the blue bins up can accept, then the community needs to be prepared and on board to save our planet. I think blue boxes for inside the home or for the street pick up should be provided to every family household and/or business. That way it not only encourages people to use it more since it's readily accessible, but it may help eliminate the amount of pollution on the side of the roads.
