I want a real climate change plan to reduce emissions, help people save energy and create jobs in the $26 trillion clean economy. We should be funding renewables not fossil fuels. It's 2018.

How about presenting the electorate with some sound alternative ideas before continuing the pattern of non-policy which sees the 'government' simply undoing the work of others? Being against everything is not good enough. Lire davantage

I am against the cancellation of the cap and trade program - Bill 4 We have the Cap and Trade Program already in place and I think it is a serious and responsible way to reduce emissions and help put the money to good use toward clean energy solutions. Lire davantage

I am very concerned about Doug Ford's position on climate change ... or lack thereof. He needs to represent Ontario, not Saskatchewan or Alberta, he needs to represent ONTARIO's citizens' positions. He was elected by US, not the fossil fuel companies of western Canada. Here's my input: Lire davantage

The majority of the Ontario Public wanted to reduce Ontario's pollution and we did it with pressure on the previous government to implement a climate action plan. The results gave us the Climate Change Mitigation and Low-carbon Economy Act, 2016 and the Cap and Trade Program. Lire davantage

Cheaper gas will mean that more people will buy pick-up trucks when they only need a small car. Result: More CO2 and worse climate change. Increase taxes on fossil fuels!

I believe that a strong future-friendly economy must include strategies not only to combat climate change but to leverage them as a part of a growing manufacturing and technology sector. I want legally binding emissions targets in line with our obligations to the Paris Climate Agreement. Lire davantage

I recommend that the government of Ontario take the advice it has already been given by Dianne Saxe, the Environmental Commissioner in her latest report entitled “Climate Action in Ontario: What’s Next”. Her key advice for how to proceed post cap and trade cancellation is as follows: Lire davantage

I disagree with this act completely. The cap and trade put money back into the economy, and protected the environment. It will cost the tax payer more to cancel it and get rid of it, than to keep it.

I strongly disagree with this Government's plan to enact Bill 4 and cancel the only climate change policy Ontario has. The Ford government did not win the election on a mandate to repeal all climate policies and fight the Federal government on carbon taxation. Lire davantage
