60% of Ontarians voted against this. The people of Ontario demand a coordinated government response to the climate crisis. Cancelling the cap and trade program is the opposite of that. Cancelling the Cap and Trade Act is shameful.

We NEED a program like this, if not even stronger, to facilitate the transition away from a fossil fuel based economy. It is very foolish to cancel Cap and Trade. Hiding your head in the sand will not change the current state of affairs. This government needs to realistically deal with climate change and to develop policies that will encourage people to make wise use of all our resources.
