I disagree vehemently with this proposal. Cap and trade and carbon taxes are proven methods for reducing CO2 output. The Cap and trade system puts the onus on industrial emitters whereas a carbon tax directly costs everyone who uses products, mostly fossil fuels, that produce CO2 emissions.
