Thank you for extending the current moratorium on water bottling permits in Ontario. It is my hope that no additional permits will be granted to commercial water bottlers such as Nestle - ever. Lire davantage

Thank you for proposing an extension to the bottled-water moratorium. This will provide much-needed time for the government to consult the public on the results of the groundwater review and presents an opportunity for the creation of evidence-based policies. Lire davantage

I congratulate the Ontario government for extending the moratorium on water bottling permits. Water is a valuable resource, and it should not be sold to anyone, especially huge companies who make huge profits at our expense. Lire davantage

Thank you for choosing to carefully consider how water extraction should happen in Ontario. Water is a precious source of life for all living beings. Let's make sure it continues to be readily available to all as a right! Thanks for doing what you do,

I strongly feel that until all First Nation communities and and all other communities have clean safe potable drinking water nobody else should be taking "the cream" off the top.

I can't believe this question is even being asked ! We do not need any more extraction permits for water from any source. All this does is put money into the pockets of of large corporations and ends up littering the landscape with single use plastic. Lire davantage

Water shortages are becoming an endemic problem around the world. We must do everything we can to protect our groundwater from non-essential use. This is an issue with the potential to have serious negative impacts on our children and grand-children.

Considering water Has to be renewable resource and there is a finite amount of water on the planet, taking water from aquifers in increasingly expanding/growth areas just to bottle it is redundant. Lire davantage

I feel that Canada's water should no longer be sold to large corporations. The monetary benefits are negligible and there is no guarantee that in the future our water needs will be met. Further, water bottles are polluting our earth and the cost of future cleanup will be gigantic.

We totally support the extension of the moratorium and the collection of more science and expert advice on managing Ontario's precious drinking water.

I would like to see a complete abandonment of selling aquifer water to large companies for bottling and resale. This is not something our water supplies can sustain. Most purchases of bottled water are completely unnecessary. This company Nestle is polluting the world by this ridiculous practice.

ERO 019-0913 as I understand it, the bottlers are paying a pittance for the water they take from our acquifers, and, some of them are illegally taking water as their existing licenses have expired. Lire davantage

In this era of climate and pollution of our environment, the last thing we need is a profit-making company taking water to sell in plastic bottles. Good clean water comes out of our taps (except where there are boil water advisories, and that is another serious matter). Lire davantage

I very much support this extended moratorium on Nestle. In my view, the company should be blocked from ever having access to water in Ontario in perpetuity. Lire davantage
