I am completely opposed to this Bill. This bill will not address the housing crisis. It is well documented how important the greenbelt is the vitality and well-being of this province and those that live within it. This bill will: extend urban sprawl increase pollution Lire davantage

Isn't this against the law? This isn't a joke anymore. This will permanently change Toronto, Ontario and what Canada stands for. Toronto, specifically, is a mess and it's going to implode on itself eventually. The mental health and state of the city is not good. Lire davantage

This decision to develop areas of the Greenbelt compromises the very purpose of the Greenbelt legislation, to protect ecologically significant/ sensitive land and farmland, which provides immeasurable value in the ecological, recreational, agricultural and cultural services to all the people of Onta Lire davantage

While I support more housing construction, I am vehemently opposed to changes to the Greenbelt plan that would create more suburban and exurban sprawl, something that we absolutely cannot afford anymore. I support adding the Paris Galt lands to the Greenbelt, but not the removal of any land. Lire davantage

I strongly oppose this legislation. It does nothing to provide affordable housing but does, instead, open the door for devastating harm to wetlands, agricultural land and more. This is a shocking move on the part of the government and I am, again, simply disgusted.

Thank you for considering my comment. I had a chance to read through the Report of the Ontario Housing Affordability Task Force and it iterates that: "a shortage of land isn’t the cause of the problem. Lire davantage
