I moved to Canada expecting that in this country and in Ontario that promises would be kept, democracy would prevail and science would be a driving factor in decision making. Stop this farce. I am appalled that the Province would take this route moving forward. This impacts many planning processes as well as impacting green spaces. My particular concern is that there has been no thought put into the need to meet the waste management requirements for the new developments. Lire davantage

This is a horrible idea. Marshlands are an important part of a balanced ecosystem and a bad place to develop. The additional costs to build there will be enormous. The greenbelt is a key migratory pathway for many animals and birds. Lire davantage

I absolutely oppose selling off any greenbelt lands. Lining the pockets of developers and endangering farmland and wildlife is not the way to solve Ontario’s housing crisis. Leave the greenbelt intact.

No development of the green belt. Build elsewhere. I do not support Fords proposed housing plan that will sacrifice green belt spaces. Get back to the drawing board. Build smart, not sprawl and definitely not in the green belt.
