I use the bike lanes regularly now that we have them. That's one car less on the road. I am much more likely to leave the bike at home without the lanes...I worry about getting hit by a car. Please keep the lanes.

Hello, I would like to state that I vehemently oppose this bill proposal. I believe it is a classist, counter-productive, and overall harmful bill. Lire davantage

This sounds ridiculous. Your government put these bike lanes in. Now you want to spend more money to take them out. I’m a 70 year old woman who uses them at least 3 times a week. For my safety, I would like to continue using them.

Keep the bike lanes! Cyclists aren’t going anywhere—Why would you want cyclists in traffic lanes with cars?

I recently moved to Ottawa because of the bike lane system. After living in Europe and being able to cycle and walk everywhere with many city center cores not allowing cars, cycling is a vital part of my lifestyle. The bike lanes were central to our lifestyle of living sustainability. Lire davantage

City infrastructure is the business of city voters and taxpayers, not the province. This sets a dangerous precedent of provincial overreach. As a taxpayer and Toronto resident: Lire davantage

As a Toronto resident and frequent user of the Bloor Street, University Avenue, and College Street bike lanes, I would like to state my strong opposition to Bill 212. Time saved for drivers should not come at the expense of biker safety. Lire davantage

This does absolutely nothing to address "gridlock". Destroying our lands just for the sake of a new highway is Einstein's definition of insanity. Induced demand.....

Ontario's **Reducing Gridlock, Saving You Time Act**, which aims to improve transportation infrastructure and reduce traffic congestion, is a proposal that may sound promising on the surface, but upon closer examination, it reveals several flaws that could worsen the problem it seeks to address and Lire davantage

NO TO BILL 212 This is a completely deceitful bill which would streamroll necessary environmental impact studies and facilitate expropriation of much needed housing during a housing crisis. Lire davantage

Why is the government coming after desperately needed bike lanes in Toronto? Where is your evidence showing that bike lanes cause gridlock? Bike lanes isn’t going to remove the number of bikers and Having no bike lanes will just cause bikers to come into lanes with cars anyways. Lire davantage

I vehemently oppose Bill 212 and its attack on the freedom of Ontarians to safely commute via bike lanes and its de-emphasis on environmental concerns. Kindly re evaluate this Bill.

I am an avid cyclist who bikes most days to work and around the city, barring a couple of months when the slush and snow make that difficult. The proposed removal of bike lanes is extremely disconcerting on multiple fronts. Lire davantage

Although we should be well used to Premier Ford's blatant attempts to misuse policy initiatives to pander to his political base, it's still so disappointing to see this behaviour and frankly embarrassing that Ontario is being so portly represented in this way. Lire davantage

I am a resident of Toronto and a driver. I have never used these bike lanes and even yet I think it's a complete waste of money, time and effort to have them removed when we have more important issues that the provincial government should be focusing on. Lire davantage

I am driving around Toronto today for medical reasons. I see how much better the bikes travel than the cars that create gridlock. It's a bad ideas to remove such fast and efficient transportation
