I cycle daily. It is my primary mode of transportation. I rely on the bike lanes for my personal safety. Removing bike lanes will endanger my life and the lives of others. Lire davantage

This bill is a shining example of Doug Ford's blatant corruption. Stealing the land of Ontario residents to enrich developers who donate to the party in power is nakedly corrupt and does absolutely nothing to help the average Ontario resident.

This new proposed regulation is just plain wrong. Gridlock is a problem because this government has consistently failed to implement proper public transit or limit the amount of road closures due to their friends in the development world, to name a few… Lire davantage

Removing the bike lanes creates a less safe environment for drivers and a slower pace for drivers. I think most drivers would agree that it is WAY more stressful sharing a lane with a biker than it is when they have a separated space. Lire davantage

I am a driver, cyclist and a pedestrian in downtown Toronto. Removing bike lanes, particularly those that get heavy use, won't send cyclists to other streets; it simply makes things more difficult and stressful for drivers and more dangerous for cyclists. Lire davantage

Don't remove bike lanes simply because you personally don't like it, Doug. A lot of people rely on those bike lanes to commute, and those lanes keep them safe.

Reducing bike lanes will make commutes worse for everyone; more cars on the road, more accidents, less safety overall. I bike with my children to get to school and bike lanes are the only thing that make this possible. I don’t know anyone who wants this. Lire davantage

Please do not remove the bike lanes! They make biking much safer and reduce traffic.

The people that are currently using a bike as their primary mode of transportation are not going to stop with the removal of bike lanes. Having cars slow down and give space to bicyclists is going to be a bigger problem then keeping the current bike lanes. Lire davantage

I’m a cyclist and a driver, and I appreciate having a separation between the two whether I’m on a bike or in a car. It makes no sense to rip out lanes that are heavily used such as downtown Bloor Street and University Ave. Lire davantage

As an avid cyclist in Toronto, safety is my top priority when I'm on my bike. I commute to work daily, navigating streets with and without bike lanes, and I feel significantly safer when bike lanes are present. Lire davantage

Bike lanes are a welcome addition to the city and deserve a place on our main roads. As a driver, I cannot express my disappointment that we aren't making this city more transit and cycling-friendly. Lire davantage
