I am writing on behalf of the residents of Cherrylawn Avenue to express our strong objection to the proposed asbestos waste transfer site at Inflector Environmental Services ( north york area) Our community includes schools, senior citizens and individuals with compromised immune systems.

The location of this facility, in such close proximity to residential homes, schools, daycare centers, and public spaces, raises serious concerns about public health, safety, and environmental risks.

This matter was brought to my attention through family friends. I grew up in the area and currently have my mother living there, as well as many families I grew up with. I find it quite unsettling that the community was not made aware or this in more transparent way.
