There is no way this should even be up for debate. To remove an environmental assessment on a proposed landfill is criminal. The residents of Dresden and surrounding areas deserve better!

York1 is not a company that can be trusted to operate a business that follows the rules and regulations, as apparent in the attached article. There is far to much at risk to be expected to trust a company that has proven they cannot be trusted. 458 loads is not a clerical error. Lire davantage

As a resident of Dresden I am deeply disturbed that the government would allow this project to proceed without an environmental assessment! We have already voiced our concerns of a dump being located less than a kilometre from our town,schools and waterways.

This proposal is beyond disgusting. Why would waste from Toronto be moved to our community of Chatham-Kent? This is going to have a profound negative effect on the wildlife in that area and the neighborhood that surrounds it. We need the FULL EA as promised. Lire davantage

This landfill should not be going in in the first place and at a bare minimum there should be a full comprehensive environmental assessment at this site. This site was never a landfill to begin with. It was a tile yard and has not accepted garbage waste . Lire davantage
