I agree with the changes proposed. It is unfortunate that it wasn't employed from the start. But I applaud the effort to rectify it. I agree with the changes proposed, I don't have and proposal to change any of the wording or concepts. Thank you!!! Read more

Myself and 4 other partners own a 200 acre property (adjacent to crown land) located in area 53 , about 15 km east on Bracebridge, near Bigwin Park. We have hunted here for 50 years or more. We keep trail cameras in the bush all year and keep track of all our wildlife. Read more

I feel this is a great way to increased hunter opportunity and participation. It makes no sense the have tags go unclaimed when folks like myself are ready, willing and able to hunt. I hope these proposals go through Read more

What about the group hunters who all apply for the second allocation and draw multiple tags that they don’t need?! Why should they be punished by losing all points for 2 hunters in the group?? You are ruining hunting for Ontarian's and sending us to hunt in Quebec.

this is very good news. it will provide an opportunity for more people to get out. it is tough on a year your group doesn't get a tag, knowing so many go unclaimed. this will make people apply for what they need or want for a tag, and allow more groups to be successful. Read more

I think that if you apply using the current points based system and are successful in drawing a tag then you have to accept that tag whether you use it or not and your points reset to zero. Read more
