I am HIGHLY AGAINST the losing your points after the first round. We have no idea if we'll get a tag. 1 person applies for bull, another for a cow with lower points but we only take 1 adult per year and we manage our points this way. Read more

You think this will change anything? Conservation officers are to busy doing “outreach” for example Lindsay plow match on the first week of October? Put game wardens back in the bush and change the system back to a lottery. Read more

I am for any measure that allows for more hunting opportunities, and therefore am for this last chance tag allocation so that most if not all tags are in use come the start of moose hunting season. Read more

I do applaud the idea of the second chance first choice . But it still no arises the problem if the group has no tags everyone then applies and the group gets multiple tags ( when they only want one) they are loosing multiple members points. Read more

One flaw I see in the proposal is caused when there are more applicants with the same number of points than the number of tags available. I believe the tags are then awarded using a draw between the qualifying applicants. Read more

I like the proposed changes to the moose tag application process. But I think something more should be done to give northern residents, who rely on moose to supply their families, a better chance at a tag. Read more

The upgrades sound encouraging. My only comment would be for the third improvement you have noted; Create a "Last Chance Allocation Step". How do you make it fair if there are left over tags? I guess there is not enough information to understand. Read more

This looks like a very positive change although final details are lacking. I fully agree with the points forfeiture at 2nd chance/ 1st draw and feel that a short application period prior to season opening is very reasonable. I look forward to more news updates as this process unfolds. Read more

The success rate for bowhunters, indicates that more tags for bowhunters would not effect overall kill numbers very much. Ir would allow more hunters to purchase tags and get into the bush, enjoying, hunting, camping etc. Read more

Again this year, we can't go! Just 3 of us but no excuse to go! 5 points for 21b and no tag....yet I'll bet a number of them go unclaimed. The ministry knows who they are, if they go unclaimed take there points away! Starting THIS YEAR! Only way to fix it! Read more
