I am writing to oppose the passing of Bill 5 “Protecting Ontario by Unleashing our Economy Act 2025”. This bill would do nothing to protect Ontario in terms of its environment, health and economic well-being. Read more

I oppose Bill 5. I want stronger environmental protections and the protection of endangered species. I oppose shortcuts for industry. I oppose overriding the law in special economic zones.

I oppose Bill 5. There should be stronger protections on the environment and endangered species. Industry should not be allowed short cuts without public oversight. And the law should not be overridden in special economic zones! Read more

Seriously concerning. You as our government have a responsibility to protect indigenous input, heritage laws and even health and safety regulations and our environment!! Not override them. This must not be allowed to be passed. Read more

Does this government not care about anything but the almighty dollar?? Government is in place to represent the people who live here. All people. I am unequivocally opposed to these proposals. The ecological chain depends on every link in the chain. Read more

We must protect our environment, our wildlife, our morals, and our Canadian heritage. The natives were protectors of the flora and fauna of this land; we stole it from them and we can take much better care of it. Get this mockery of a bill, Ford's farce, out of here.

Dear Mr Ford I am so worried about this proposal. I understand the need for housing and the need for speed in providing housing but we simply cannot go backward now in protecting species at risk in Ontario. Please reconsider. Read more

I'm tired of this continuous profits before planet legislation. I do not agree with the changes. If you can't find a way to build houses without destroying habitat then you need to get out of government and let people who can take over.
