I do not support the new proposed to the Endangered Species. We must do more to protect the land, water and air for the Species that make Ontario their home. There are lots of parking lots and plazas that can be torn down. That land can be used to build housing.

As a constituent in this community, I find Bill 5 incredibly troubling. To name a few of my concerns; firstly, I think that repealing the Endangered Species Act and replacing it with the newly proposed Species Conservation Act is an action entirely motivated by profit rather than conservation.

Bill 5 Takes Ontario Backward
Bill 5 represents a dangerous step backward for Ontario. It proposes the creation of lawless “Economic Zones” at the government's discretion—areas where rules and regulations will no longer apply. This undermines democracy, the rule of law, and citizens’ rights.
