I would like to see this Bill dropped by the Ontario Government. We need alll the protection we can get for our endangered species and environment. They just want to get it passed so they can sell more previous land to developers.

Ontarios flora and fauna must be protected particularly in the already heavily developed areas of central and southern Ontario. Our natural areas are one of a kind and irreplaceable. Once they are gone they are gone forever, no conservation or restoration will ever replace what once was.

Our volunteer nonpartisan organization active in our riding, is very concerned about the proposed changes to The Endangered Species Act in Schedule 2 of Bill 5. If these proposed changes are enacted, species at risk in Ontario will no longer be protected.

Endangered species, animals and the environment have to be protected. The proposed changes to Bill 5 gut the protections which is not acceptable. We are already dealing with useless legislature when it comes to animal abuse in this province.
As a mother and citizen, I strongly oppose this legislation and I'm appalled that a Government of Ontario, supposedly acting in the best interests of its constituents, would suggest that Bill 5 is the best way to protect Ontario’s economy.
