While I understand the NIMBY mind set , I do believe we need to be Canada Strong & not depend on the US for anything important to our to Ontario/Canada. So make the landfill as safe as possible & get it done. Read more

If the bulk of the construction and demolition waste is generated in the heavily populated areas such as the GTA, Oshawa, or Kitchener-Guelph then why in the world would we truck it 2-3 hours away to Dresden. Imagine the carbon spewing into the air from the estimated 700 trucks per day. Read more

I am opposed to removing the environmental assessment for any project. We cannot keep treating our earth like an infinite resource. Due diligence and consultation with indigenous communities are not up for debate! Read more

The proposal to reactivate and expand the current property makes no common sense at all. The location is too far from any main transportation arteries that would logistically support this location as a large scale operation. Read more

Stop the dump from Dresden Ontario Dump site is too close to town, our property values will plummet, not to mention the smell and increased truck traffic. Also super close to Sydenham River and this puts many endangered species at risk. Read more
