I support the proposed transfer only if, the Town of Wasaga Beach is legally bound to keep ownership of the areas in perpetuity and not able to sell them off. I also am concerned that all current access routes (pathways, roadways) remain open to the public. Read more

I disagree with this change and strongly believe that the land and property should remain under the conservation act. Conservation areas and parks increase tourism as well as ecology. Read more

Please protect the nesting areas for Piping Plovers in Wasaga Beach. It is so important to their future. There is so much development everywhere and some places absolutely need protection especially when there are endangered species nesting there. PROTECT THIS AREA FOREVER PLEASE!

This beachfront should be protected as it is vital for several species at risk. Ontario does not need more beach tourism, it needs to protect the beautiful natural habitat and to stop selling off our province to make a buck. Read more

I am horrified by the proposal to remove land for this provincial park for development. Please keep your hands off our parkland. There are endangered species in that area that need protection, and the public need space for recreation. Everyone I know loves Wasaga beach. Read more

This is a great opportunity to tie in these lands with the current plan to upgrade the Wasaga Beach experience. However, keeping the land public and undeveloped must be part of the agreement. Read more

Please do not sell off any portion of this provincial park in Wasaga Beach for development. The benefits do not outweigh the costs. Once it is lost to us, it will be lost forever. We do not have enough protected spaces. Read more

I am a long time resident of Wasaga Beach and fully support the transfer of lands to the Town of Wasaga Beach. They will provide the TLC the beach greatly needs.

As an Ontario resident I do not support this bill removing land from our provincial parks for sale to private landowners. Keep provincial park lands public and withdraw this bill. Read more

I support the restoration of Nancy Island and the promotion of it as an important event in Canada’s history. Without this historic event we might now be the 51st state. Read more

Please leave our natural spaces untouched! The beach supports more than tourism, but is home to wildlife! We have a responsibility to the land as per our treaty agreements. Leave it be!

Mr Ford, I cannot stress this enough. You need to save the environment and its precious creatures. Save the provincial parks and beaches. Do you want to go down in history with your picture next to a certain American person who destroyed their country and disliked by many? If not, then Stop now Read more

This is appalling, my family and I love to visit Wasaga beach throughout the year. It breaks my heart that our favourite parts of Ontario are being sold off for parts and profit. If the public has a say, please hear our voices. We say no!!

Future generations deserve the land as much as we do. As Toronto becomes more unliveable with heat radiating back from the concrete, the land in Wasaga offers the opposite. Don't take the wrecking ball to that too. Wasaga offers a break from that and improves quality of life when we visit. Read more
