I am not in favour of removing beaches from the provincial park in Wasaga Beach. These areas should remain protected. Wasaga is already overrun with tourists. Read more

There is plenty of land around Wasaga Beach to develop. Money for developing an endangered bird's nesting grounds is disgusting. Unprotecting natural lands in order to destroy them for questionable profit shouldn't even be considered. Read more

Provincial parks conserve land. They are not to be chopped up. This is another greenbelt-like land grab. We need more parks, not smaller/fewer parks. Leave the parks alone!!

Leave our parks alone, Wasaga is known for it's beautiful scenery and natural habitat. Don't destroy our ecosystem with a concrete jungle!!!

This proposed amendment would do untold damage to the endangered piping plover, a shorebird that nests in the area that this development would ruin. Please do not put this through.

This is so wrong on so many levels. The beaches, the water, our parks belong to the people and should be left as so. Read more

I disagree with the proposal. The provincial park should NOT remove its shoreline. It is critical that the shoreline remain intact for future generations. As the province grows it us critical that this beach at its current footprint continues ti exist.

As the public, we DO NOT CONSENT to changing the laws for our protected land to be sold off for profit. Climate change is at its worst and we as the public want to preserve and protect what we have left of our world! Think of the children and our great grandchildren! Read more

This is in reference to the changes to Wasaga Beach being considered. I am adamantly opposed to the redevelopment and want to make it very clear: our provincial parks are not for sale, and extinction is not a price Canadians are willing to pay for tourism marketing. Read more

The proposed amendments to the Provincial Parks and Conservation Reserves (PPCR) Act will remove critical protections for ALL Provincial Parks and Conservation lands. This is unacceptable. Read more

I do not support selling off half of Wasaga's beach land. Not only is it environmentally negative, it's taking a wonder gift given to us all to enjoy and giving it to a select, rich few. We must stop privatizing our beautiful nature and make it available to all! Thank you for your time.

Our provincial parks, especially Wasaga Beach as the most visited of all parks, are an important resource for the good of all. There is no need to reallocate this public land to the Town for development use. Read more

This is disgusting plug for money from a government that doesn’t care about the environment or the animals that use it. This is a PROVINCIAL park with endangered species residing. Please do not remove part of the beach. Please reserve an area for these animals. Toronto is big and robust enough. Read more

I can’t believe the audacity, ridiculous notion that anybody would think this is a good idea developing Wasaga beach. How much is Doug Ford and his cronies going to pocket in this foolish and irresponsible development? I am absolutely appalled at this idea and totally completely disagree. Read more

Typical, misuse of power and most beaches in Ontario are gone to either private or business to make decisions. As far as I can tell our parks are being renamed and branded for commercial use. Read more

The only reason I could possibly think of to remove land from a provincial park is to give it back to the people who actually own the land, the indigenous peoples of the land. Outside of that under no circumstances should land be taken out of the provincial park system. Read more
