Provincial parks conserve land. They are not to be chopped up. This is another greenbelt-like land grab. We need more parks, not smaller/fewer parks. Leave the parks alone!!
This proposed amendment would do untold damage to the endangered piping plover, a shorebird that nests in the area that this development would ruin. Please do not put this through.
I disagree with the proposal. The provincial park should NOT remove its shoreline. It is critical that the shoreline remain intact for future generations. As the province grows it us critical that this beach at its current footprint continues ti exist.
As the public, we DO NOT CONSENT to changing the laws for our protected land to be sold off for profit. Climate change is at its worst and we as the public want to preserve and protect what we have left of our world! Think of the children and our great grandchildren!

I do not support selling off half of Wasaga's beach land. Not only is it environmentally negative, it's taking a wonder gift given to us all to enjoy and giving it to a select, rich few. We must stop privatizing our beautiful nature and make it available to all! Thank you for your time.
Our provincial parks, especially Wasaga Beach as the most visited of all parks, are an important resource for the good of all. There is no need to reallocate this public land to the Town for development use.

The only reason I could possibly think of to remove land from a provincial park is to give it back to the people who actually own the land, the indigenous peoples of the land.
Outside of that under no circumstances should land be taken out of the provincial park system.
