As a local resident I am in support of moving this project ahead. My son attends daycare across the street and it is a real shame to see the derelict buildings there. This could be a real showcase of successful collaboration between a municipal government and the province.

I support this effort by the Mayor of Hamilton. This site was has been used for residential dwellings for decades. The efforts to block the redevelopment have slowed a critical low cost housing initiative that Hamilton desperately need. Please approve this zoning order request.

Good afternoon, I live near(across) the survey and had friends that unfortunately had to leave for this renovation. Due to Covid and unfortunately other situations it just sits there EMPTY and the fact homeless people are living there is fine as it is a roof over their head.

Well past time to get this project moving and prioritize Homes for people. The fact it’s taken so long is absolutely shameful and CN should be held to account for their part in this fiasco. Grant the MZO and let’s get these homes built.
This project has been delayed far too long. Hamilton is in dire need of housing and this project can be one of many to begin to mend the housing crisis. This is valuable property and needs to be developed.
The empty Jamesville housing project is unacceptable and has been sitting empty for 10 years half demolished while hundreds of people are living on the streets of downtown Hamilton. The fact that this has been tied up in political red tape for years is disgraceful.
This is a great idea to rebuild Jamesville to accommodate more housing needed in the city and perhaps to make the neighborhood look cleaner, be safer and better too.
