While I am very happy this area is finally being utilized, I am extremely disappointed that it will be both a) not entirely low income/geared to income housing, and b) that it will include high rises. The area will be overwhelmed. Why not entirely low/mid rise buildings? Read more

The city recently rejected a proposal for the former Glen Echo School property citing that the development was too jarring for a neighbourhood that consisted of mainly single family homes and not in neighbourhood streets. The same should be found in the case of Jamesville. Read more

It’s time to get on with this project and get some housing built. The area in question had been habituated by residents in homes for decades, before it was destroyed in hopes of building new housing and offering housing to many who desperately need it. Read more

Nothing has made me angrier in the last few years than seeing this gutted, abandoned property just sit there. I'm a mailman. I delivered mail there a few times when I started my job 7-8 years ago. It was full of families and playing kids and it served a community. Read more

Please APPROVE this MZO request. The existing site has been vacant for so long and needs to be advanced. CN Rail is being unreasonable with their complaints. The developer has already been accommodating and adjusted the design to block more noise. Read more

You’re turning a nice quiet neighbourhood into a Mecca of chaos. Opening up Simcoe street west, which is going to ruin everyone’s peace and quiet. When I purchased my home in the neighbourhood in 2022, there was no mention of a 20 story building and housing over 600 people across the street. Read more

As a citizen of the city of Hamilton, I see this redevelopment as an big, greaf impact in Hamilton as we are in great urge for home development in this city. This will not only provide a sustained amount of new homes for the residents, also it will impact north area to have a better aspect.
