The length of time this parcel of land has sat empty and unused is unbelievable. I understand the rail yards concern about noise and vibration, but there are many residences in the area, and used to be an entire housing complex before it was shuttered. Read more

We desperately need this to be fixed. We need this housing in our community. This dormant eye sore, that once housed so many families is now a health risk,as many junkies sleep in there and shoot up. It is unsafe to walk by, it attracts everything you don't want in your neighborhood. Read more

Hello I would not like the zoning changed. The area is already zoned as Urban Area and zoned DE/S-65 (Low Density Multiple Dwellings District) in City of Hamilton Zoning By-law No 6593 and the which fills the neighborhood quite a bit. Read more

Hi the housing units in question have been on that land for at least 30years .it wasn't a problem for all those years until empty,. What on earth is the problem noise, fumes, ? 30 years CN was there all along, same today ..we need housing... Read more

This Hamilton project has been planned for years, and the project was going ahead until CN objected with a maybe someone in the future would complain about their shunting yard, which is blocks away and masked by being below grade. For years, residents living near the tracks never complained. Read more

The negotiations between CN Rail and the City of Hamilton have had ample opportunity to come to a successful conclusion. Hanging in the balance is an entire neighbourhood of affordable and deeply affordable family homes in a time when Hamilton is literally in crisis with affordable housing. Read more

Dear Minister Flack, Please assist Hamilton with desperately needed affordable housing. It is extremely difficult as a resident to see so many vulnerable citizens who would great benefit from affordable housing. Please issue the MZO to help Hamilton restore the Janesville housing project. Read more

Please issue an MZO to get this project moving. Hamilton is in desperate need of affordable housing. Housing stood on this exact location for decades until previous terms of Council allowed it to fall into disrepair. Now CN has been stalling the project for far too long. Read more
