I do not support this proposal. Rather than significantly weakening protections for species at risk, this government should be safeguarding biodiversity, respecting Indigenous rights and ensuring local communities benefit from the ecosystem services that nature freely provides.

Repeal Bill 5 and restore protections now! I absolutely oppose these changes. They will cause irreparable harm to wildlife, habitat, to us and our future generations.

Removing the protection from already struggling species is unacceptable. Just for the easy of building. once the species are gone they are gone for good.
This is absolutely unacceptable. The Species Conservation Act, 2025 (SCA) completely guts the already could be improved Endangered Species Act, 2007 (ESA), due to Bill 56, Building a more competitive economy act which we do not need.
