None of this was campaigned on, and is not necessary to addressing tariffs, which was the sole premise of the election campaign. As such I do not feel there is electoral consent. I personal do not accept any weakening of legislative protections. Read more

I do not support this proposal. Rather than significantly weakening protections for species at risk, this government should be safeguarding biodiversity, respecting Indigenous rights and ensuring local communities benefit from the ecosystem services that nature freely provides. Read more

It is horrendous and unscientific to make any changes to the Endangered Species Act. We cannot continue to destroy precious ecosystems that depend on these species. We need to protect them so our environment can continue to thrives. Read more

Biodiversity and wildlife are in trouble. How could we ever think weakening the Endangered Species Act is ok? We should be going in the opposite direction and doing everything we can to strengthen species protections . Our premier cares way more about development than the natural world . Read more

Hello, I do not support Bill 5 and am asking for Bill 5 to be repealed. I am very concerned for how the amendments to the Conservation Act and other proposed legislative and regulatory changes to environmental regulations will impact biodiversity, endangered species, and the environment overall. This is absolutely unacceptable. The Species Conservation Act, 2025 (SCA) completely guts the already could be improved Endangered Species Act, 2007 (ESA), due to Bill 56, Building a more competitive economy act which we do not need. Read more
