I do not support these changes. I do not believe that centralizing the operation of conservation authorities will achieve the goals espoused. What is best for the conservation of the areas affected?...not to the benefit of the developers etc..

As a resident of the city of Hamilton, I am very concerned that our local knowledge of the various watersheds will be diminished should amalgamation proceed into regional bodies. The cost and chaos of this exercise seems unnecessary and will result in longer delays in permits being issued. Read more

This idea to consolidate conservation is counter to all that conservation needs, which is local knowledge and understanding. The thousands if varieties if wildlife, small lakes, ponds, marshes need indivudual understanding, not broad brush strokes. Don't do this,
