The approach appears to mirror municipal drinking water, but without the controls and accountability that makes that approach work. Without annual inspections, the ministry can't confirm that pre-approved works follow requirements. Read more

This is just an attempt to say you're "reducing red tape" but in reality you're just using the pandemic as a distraction and hoping people don't notice that you're removing any sort of oversight or regulatory restrictions on development. There is nothing good here at all.

Storm Design: You are proposing a 1% minimum slope of all sized top end pipe lengths (minimum 250mm diameter). This is quite a steep slope, even for 250mm pipe. We typically design top end 200mm sanitary pipe at 0.50%. Read more

The proposal appears to be a reasonable one because it includes provisions for environmental monitoring. Please don't accept, without substantiation, complaints from municipalities that monitoring is too expensive or inconclusive. Read more
