I oppose Lennox being approved for the site specific standard. I reside in Bath that is 6km downwind. Bath residents should have been informed of the application. Increased air pollution will negatively affect our community.
I just became aware of this proposal. I live in Bath, On, less than 10 minutes from the plant. Did not receive any notification of public consultation.

The Ministry of the Environment should never allow an increase in contaminents when the current objective is to reduce them. I have only just heard about this and could be directly affected living in Bath. My neighbours are also unaware.

Hello. I live about 15km from OPG. I have put up with alot through the years of construction, noise, pollution etc coming from the site but I have no hesitation in saying that I will be moving if this goes through.

OPG Lennox Generating Station (LGS) will not be able to meet the provincial air pollution standards that come into effect in 2023. The SSRA permits will allow OPG to pollute even more.

The issue around the outgassing from the Lennox Power Generating Station towers is a concern because a blanket request to have an exemption on the emission standards implies no standards (past or most recent one) whenever demand for electrical power is high and natural gas is limited.

I am a registered nurse and a resident of Napanee. I am concerned with the health effects of changing the standard, particularly since cumulative impact studies have not been completed. Our health care system is beyond overloaded now and we must look to preventative medicine.
