Green space is a necessity for our life, and the life of animals and plants. I quiet often take my children into the Greenbelt for outdoor recreation, and enjoy the beautiful landscape every time. The thought of this land being removed saddens me.

I do not support the proposed amendments to the Greenbelt Plan. It is shortsighted and destructive to currently protected areas that were designated to preserve and protect rural farmland and natural watersheds. Once lost, farmland and watershed integrity cannot be recovered.
