This bill is a disgusting land grab that does nothing but fill the pockets of developers at the cost of environmentally sensitive land. Do you like floods? Do you like climate change? Green space is a necessity for our life, and the life of animals and plants. I quiet often take my children into the Greenbelt for outdoor recreation, and enjoy the beautiful landscape every time. The thought of this land being removed saddens me. Read more

I do not support the proposed amendments to the Greenbelt Plan. It is shortsighted and destructive to currently protected areas that were designated to preserve and protect rural farmland and natural watersheds. Once lost, farmland and watershed integrity cannot be recovered. Read more

I am against this plan. The government should not be changing the footprint of the greenbelt. What is it protecting if they can just pave it over whenever they choose? The greenbelt is only the greenbelt if they don't take pieces from it. Read more
