Currently I am studying at the University of Waterloo to be a City Planner. As someone who will be assessing the impact of the proposed changes to the Greenbelt and will likely have to deal with the effects and negative impact of the changes, the proposal is very concerning to me. Read more

I strongly oppose this proposition. I do not believe that building homes as far as the green belt will solve pricing pressures within the Greater Toronto Area. People who want to live in or around the city will not suddenly move into the green belt region. Read more

I am strongly opposed to the proposal to remove 7400 acres of land from the Ontario Greenbelt. We, as Canadians, desperately need to protect our good quality farmland, both to preserve potential food producing land and to protect against climate change.
