I oppose Bill 5. We need stronger protections for our environment. I oppose short cuts for industry. We already know the premiers history with the environment. He very obviously has no respect for the environment and cannot be allowed to cause even more potentially irreparable damage.

I am opposed to Bill 5. It is a reckless attempt by Doug Ford to secure projects that benefit him and his friends. It's is another example of his authoritarian style of governance. Read more

Bill 5 is inhumane and unjustifiable. Ontario does not need more housing that nobody can even afford. Why not work on things that actually improve the lives of the people of Ontario instead of this useless destruction of even more land.

Wildlife cannot survive with only their "dwelling" protected. Imagine someone came and took all of your house except the bedroom and expected you to live and thrive. The Endangered Species Act is vital to conservation. If it takes too long, hire more people to get the work done quicker. Read more

I oppose bill 5; we need stronger protections for wildlife and nature. We need to have more funding towards protecting these pockets of land. We need a law to protect this land and that makes it impossible to reverse any protection of the land.

Good Morning Unleashing the Economy Act. This legislation would let anyone the cabinet chooses evade provincial and municipal laws. It will also repeal the Endangered Species Act, and empower the premier to kneecap wind and solar development, keeping Ontario dependent on U.S. fracked gas Read more
