Ontario needs to stop sprawling development. It needs to stop bowing to the whims of large developers who have show no interest in building the type of homes and communities that Ontario needs. I strongly oppose this bill and think its a terrible idea. We need stronger environmental protection, not less. I also oppose shortcuts for industries. Laws have made Ontario the beautiful province that it is today and wanting to bypass all of that is unacceptable.

I oppose bill 5. It is steamrolling necessary environmental protections. Developers need more oversight, not less. Overriding the law at the will of the premier in any part of the province is unconscionable. Read more
