I oppose bill 5 because it puts thousands of endangered species at risk. This is a ridiculous bill that should NOT be allowed to pass. I oppose shortcuts for industry. Our environment should be protected, not destroyed and profited off of.

Using the rationale of urgency for new housing should not supersede the current rules in place to protect the most vulnerable of wildlife species in our province. By building homes in areas where these animals exist, we are using a short sighted approach to solving the housing problem.
