Taking regulatory power away from the scientists who know about the species being protected in the name “efficiency” is insane. Allowing the people who stand to benefit from investments made on protected land to make regulatory decisions will do nothing other than destroy our beautiful province. Read more

I oppose bill 5. I believe part of what makes ontario special and worthwhile to live in and with doing business in is our ecological diversity. Creating shortcuts for business to get around the endangered species act will not serve us. Read more

This bill is so slimy. This is not how we move forward to make a better future for our children and our people. This is greed and gluttony and criminal. The species protected in this act are already endangered enough, that is why they are ON the endangered species act. Any changes to this is ludicrous unless is to guarantee more protection from their habitats being develpoed. Read more
