I do not support the reduction of environmentally significant areas with endangered species. Do not affect the ability to build on protected lands - we must continue to protect them, it's our duty.

I am vehemently opposed to the proposed changes to the Endangered Species Act, 2007 and a proposal for the Species Conservation Act, 2025. Species at risk, and the environments they live in, must be protected, along with all culturally significant sites.

I strongly oppose Bill 5, the Protect Ontario by Unleashing Our Economy Act. This legislation poses a serious threat to Ontario’s natural heritage, democratic processes and Indigenous rights. Read more

This is insanity. As a resident of Ontario, born and raised here. This is absolutely not something that I condone. It’s a cheap and easy way to solve a problem at the expense of our land. That’s unacceptable. We cannot move one problem to another, for the future generations to solve. Read more

I absolutely oppose this - please don’t do this. This is the worst thing for species at risk. These protections were put in place for a reason and they need to just stay there. There are other ways for development that don’t involve drastically diminishing protections for our most at risk species.

I and a lot of other people oppose Bill 5. We call for the protection of endangered species. What's the point of having super fast infrastructure if mother nature is deteriorating? We have one earth and you want to fast track it's demise. Read more

I do not support bill 5 or shortcuts for industry. Leave the endangered species alone bruh. When the world falls apart and money no longer has any value, is when you’ll learn to appreciate the actual physical world over your mountains of money.

Throwing money at volunteers to restore habits that should be protected in the first place shows that this bill is there to help developers and not there to ensure the environment is protected. This approach will cause the endangered species list to skyrocket. Read more
