The changes to the Endangered Species Act and proposal for the Species Conservation Act are disturbing. Wildlife in Ontario is extremely valuable. Ontario attracts the most nature-based tourists than any other province in Canada.

I do not support short cuts for industry that does not allow public participation or approval. Priority should be placed on environmental impact not industry ease of expansion
If this is passed, this bill would repeal Ontario's Endangered Species Act, 2007, replacing it with a drastically weakened framework for the protection of our province's vulnerable species.
