Please don’t follow through with this Bill. Let’s protect all species and their environments. If we continue like this humans too will be on the extinct list.
I am very much against these proposed changes. Our natural resources and our native and endangered species are a great asset to Ontario. We need to prioritize their protection and leave this in the hands of the expert scientists who specialize in the research.

I want strong environmental and endangered species protection. I oppose shortcuts for industry with no public oversight and I oppose overriding the law in special economic zones!

I am unclear why the current law needs to be changed. I truly hope that the new law is not being made to simply do away with regulations that make it more difficult to fast track environmentally protected land and species from being bulldozed over for government or private building projects.

As an active farmer I am very displeased with the failure to protect feeding habitat, and the proposed discretionary (arbitrary?) powers for the province to remove protection of any species at will.

The proposed ammendments to the endangered species act l. Will change the sl9w process of requests from many individuals but I believe slow is steady and when it comes to the environment we need to be more meticulous especially with long term effects.
