If bill 60 passes there are a lot of issues. The major issue is that the public spaces people need to go to for recreation in nature will be paved over. There needs to be green space for people as well as for nature and the eco system. Key Arguments Against Bill 60 Read more

I cannot understand the provincial governments obsession with controlling what the City of Toronto and other municipalities choose to do within their jurisdiction. Bill 60 includes a number of unwarranted measures interfering with the choice of municipal leaders duly elected by their constituents. Read more

I think it’s a shame we are even discussing this. We need to keep standards in place so developers can’t just put whatever they want where ever they want. Green space is important and part of sustainable living going forward. Once this bill is passed we would never be able to go back

Climate change is real - and we must act to save our environment. I personally have spent tens of thousands of dollars on solar power, heat pump, extra insulation,electric car...I am unlikely to recover my capital in savings given I am 72 years old. Read more
