I believe that our current roads cannot accommodate the current heavy truck traffic it sees let alone extra traffic. Too many accidents involving heavy trucks in our area increase due to the increased quarries productions. Read more

We do not want a bigger toxic waste site in our area they put the first one in without letting people know that it was their until it was done .We were told that the township said NO so they went over their heads and the government passed it .We are all concern of our safety and health. Read more

Concerned about the expansion of more waste daily and more places (across Canada) and you haven't even been here long and already changing the game plan. This area is cottage country. Rivers, lakes. Supreme views and vistas. Wildlife abounds and you are proposing filling with waste. Read more

We live on concession F-G and already feel the traffic of trucks to be too high. The highway already has a significant amount of trucks who rarely check their tires for stones and rocks which lead to broken windshields. Read more

Double the highway traffic , Hwy 169 and Hwy 11 infrastructure can't keep up with surface repairs now . Heavy truck traffic poses extra risks . Soil is contaminated and other materials are expanding and many residents take ground and lake water in the area for drinking . Read more

I live on a line and corner of 169. These gravel type trucks are increasing in number already. Our water quality in Black River will be worse if this proposal is passed. What gave Environment Canada the ok? Is this just another money grab?
