I live on Concession B-C and absolutely oppose the expansion of NRK Quarry. They are already destroying our road with the mud and potholes that go months without being fixed without expanding their operation. Lire davantage

I strongly disagree with this expansion as a resident nearby this will cause serious issues in many ways from limited water (people with wells) it will cause the water table to go down cause if our smaller lakes to dry up not to mention our wonderful wild life and how it is already being impacted ne Lire davantage

We are farmers with livestock that live on the same road as to where this waste location already is. Since they have started dumping soil we have noticed oil slicks in our water after a heavy rain. Lire davantage

I am a school bus driver that drives on highway 169 all day long. I have witnessed multiple accidents on this highway solely due to the transport trucks coming and going from concession B-C. Lire davantage

I believe that our current roads cannot accommodate the current heavy truck traffic it sees let alone extra traffic. Too many accidents involving heavy trucks in our area increase due to the increased quarries productions. Lire davantage

We do not want a bigger toxic waste site in our area they put the first one in without letting people know that it was their until it was done .We were told that the township said NO so they went over their heads and the government passed it .We are all concern of our safety and health. We live on concession F-G and already feel the traffic of trucks to be too high. The highway already has a significant amount of trucks who rarely check their tires for stones and rocks which lead to broken windshields. Lire davantage

Double the highway traffic , Hwy 169 and Hwy 11 infrastructure can't keep up with surface repairs now . Heavy truck traffic poses extra risks . Soil is contaminated and other materials are expanding and many residents take ground and lake water in the area for drinking . Lire davantage

I live on a line and corner of 169. These gravel type trucks are increasing in number already. Our water quality in Black River will be worse if this proposal is passed. What gave Environment Canada the ok? Is this just another money grab?
